Artist's Description
"A Windy Day" won Best of Show in the 2010 One Day in the Life of Burlington photography contest in Burlington, Ontario. To make the image, I asked a physical education coach to leap from a high point in a local park while holding a red umbrella and holding unto her hat. I laid down on the ground and shot upward. The umbrella ripped up on the fourth jump. Luckily, my third shot won the prize.
